After a very hard day of getting nothing but let down and tossed aside… I sometimes wonder the value of life… The meaning, the necesities and the wonderings of life… My thoughts end up in a world wide argument in my own head… So let’s hear it from you… What are your thoughts on life… Why do you think we are here? This is very serious by the way… ;( I’m looking forward to reading some responses… After I get let down tomorrow night for the final straw I’ll fill you in on my my thoughts… ---

I don’t believe that there is any “purpose” for human beings to be on the earth. Our only purpose is to live and reproduce to keep our species going. There is no _need_ for fun, emotions, love or anything else. But, I also feel that these things are needed in order to live a fulfilled life. I also believe that it is important to be a good role model to your offspring. But none of this is our purpose, these are just things to keep us busy during our time in life. Might as well take advantage of your life, you only get one 🙂 ---

Life is all about the [color=brown][size=4]Gravy.[/color][/size] Everything we do today goes into the [color=brown][size=4]Gravy.[/color][/size] Our lives are kinda like a refrigerator filled with veggies going bad. Spice is a must, but a careful balance is always needed, no one likes too much anything, especially things that taste like burning. Life huh? Well for me…not having a god and makes me not so much look to impress some dude on a throne at the end of it all. I just do my thing. I try to have fun, dont screw anyone over. Kick the bag out of those that screw me over. I just live. To me that is life. I will take revs nifty [color=brown][size=4]Gravy[/color][/size] analogy and expand with another member of our food group. Fruit. I kinda look at life as one big apple. We all get only one bite so take the biggest bite you can. …screw the apples though I want [color=brown][size=4]Gravy[/color][/size] ---

life- well at times where everything is going well, we love it. when times aren’t so great we hate it. why are we hear? who knows, personally i just take things as they come. i mean eventually something has to start going right, no? ---

what we call soul, what makes decision, the “I” is something created by evolution. The most efficient way to surwife. We die, to allow generations after us to be superior, to keep humanity alife. So i guess the only possible task could be to improve humanity (this may be by making children, working, whatever). Hey, but come on, do we need a task to live? do what you want! The only thing we really know is that (unless something strange happens) the time will go on, we get older each day, and once we will die. (I think death is not such a horrible thought, if you keep in mind, that you have always been, and will always be only a part of the evolution. You are a small piece in the big puzzle of evolution. If people before us wouldn’t have died, humanity wouldn’t have become anything special, and we would still be as intelligent as a worm, or something equal.) ---

The way I think about it is this… There are times when I currently think we are going through hell by living the life that we have here on Earth. No matter where you turn there is Greed, Hunger, Wants, Needs, Sin, and all the trials and tribulations. Murder, Rape, and everything else. Sometimes I wonder if a truly dark and evil place like hell could surpass some of the feelings that people have to go through on Earth… Think about it… A little girl gets raped multiple times in her life… grows up to be a whore that has to slut herself on the streets. has barely any money to eat and constantly gets used. One day a man picks her up and rapes her to an almost near death, and now you have a girl that might have grown up to be a nurse, had she have been untouched by perverse hands… Sounds sick, but doesn’t a room full of flames sound better to this girl than Earth right about then? Think about how you may have felt when your feart gets broken into a million pieces or how you girls may feel when you get played. It’s all emotions and as much as I like the idea of emotions sometimes, at other times I just wish they could go away. Evil demented thoughts in my head and all that sort of jive… What does this have to do with life? I dunno… That’s just one of my possible theories… Sometimes I feel we are in a constant play put here by a bunch of sick \*\*\*\*s and other times I just wish I could believe in some sort of natural ways… It’s ahrd to tell at times. ---

Life is simple, and I dunno why so many people get confused about it. There is no secret to life, living, or having a good life. Humans are complex creatures, and for some reason, we have to find a way to make everything else around us just as complex. Wake up in the morning, and go about your day. Be a good person, do what you do, and things will play out the way they will. Everyone always gets caught up in the idea of making life better, or easier, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes you just have to accept the way things are and not worry about it. To try and do otherwise is hubris. Sure it’s nice to take chances every now and then - ask a cute girl out, strike up conversation with the waiter in some restaraunt, or ask your professor to push an assignment back a weekend. You might get lucky, have things go your way, or you might not. But if you don’t, there’s no real use getting all upset about it, because it’s the way things are and you can’t go changing that now, after the fact. So what do I do? I wake up each morning, and I do my school work. I have lunch and dinner with my friends, go out at night with the guys, and keep up relations with as many people as possible via AIM each day. I say hello to people I haven’t talked to in ages, hold the door for girls whenever I enter or exit a building, because it’s the little things like that that make a big difference in people’s hearts. It’s the little things… Not everything has to be so complex as everyone seems to make it out to be. Sure, I’d like some things in my life to change, but I’m working on a few of them now. Nothing is instant in this world except Quaker oatmeal, and even that takes about 4 minutes on high. You do what you have to do and things will take care of themselves. If not, then it wasn’t meant to be that way, and you have to accept that. ---

There is no purpose. Well, maybe for humans is to \*\*\*\* up the world for some other species to regign supreme in this god-forsaken planet. Just like the dinosaurs ruled and came to be extinct so will man. Its that simple. Unless we’re lucky and start using more than four percent of our brains then we could go inhabit other planets and \*\*\*\* them up too. Thats but a dream so for now do what you you do and don’t fight the inevitable for we are not meant to reign forever. Is it this thread that somebody suggested we could in the matrix. I so love the Ordered Forum… I think BadMagick brought up some good points. The little things are more important than you actually think. A little act of friendship can bring a smile on everyone’s face and that’s something I really do enjoy. Making people laugh is something that makes other people happy and me as well.
