in Academy, I didn’t kill Rosh (but oh how tempting it was)
I have Heal lv 3, Lightning lv 3, Grip lv 3, and the rest are like Protect or somehting i dont use

I went dark. In KotOR I accidentally killed this one person who I later found out could have joined my party. That’s when I turned dark. ☹

yeah dark is really fun
anyone who played Academy, how hard was it to not kill Rosh? he’s such a whiny &$\*%#, I wanted to kill him all the time, but still closed my lightsabers down

hehe prit. You’d be a cul-prit if you did that!
(look for “cul” in french and you’ll understand my bilingual humor here)
I stopped playing KOTOR when I found out it lagged my computer too much (1.56ghz P4, 256 DDRAM, Geforce Ti4200) like once every 7/8 minutes during which, once it stopped lagging, the action which should have taken place would be broadcasted in fast forward. So if you were running forward and it lagged, you’d end up running REALLY FAST into a wall. If you were fighting, you’d die real quick…
Also my giving up of the game was made easier by not being able to continue in that “level of the city” in which there’s a girl and her wookie friend, in which you meet an underground leader or such. Bleh… I don’t like D’n’D rules. This also helped a lot. How many times have you played neverwinter nights just to find yourself suddenly with kotor, the exact same rules with lightsabers instead of swords and blasters/heavy weaps instead of archery and siege machines…bleh…
_I found the scene with Rosh was so “stereotypical” of the Star Wars universe…join us or die. When you choose to not join, then it’s “kill him! let anger flow through you!” just like Palpatine did. Man!_

Oh and about the topic! (force powers)
Absorb, heal, mind trick and protect at 3. Had lightning at 2 and spent a point to bring it to 3, but it’s not THAT useful…
Mind trick is just SO useful against those big fat imperial jetpackers or in that lava level with 8 of 'em walking the pit…

if that’s Vader’s Castle on Vjun, i just used the rifle (crap forgot the name)…the one before the rocket launcher…something rifle…shoots blue/purple…at the robots and they die if you right-click
or use speed and Lv. 3 Lightning

Yeah that concussion rifle which uses up 50 energy/400 per “supershot”…That gun was useful! But I beat them with mind trick and “mah saybah” (saber, which is my weapon of choice in both jedi knight games)
By the way, have you seen lucasart’s website on jedi academy?

the name came back to me last night but i couldn’t get online until now
that website is pretty cool
if you haven’t played Academy, I highly recommend it: great action, plus lightsabers

in kotor I start doing bad things to turn to the dark side, but after a while I started to feel bad 😛 especially when I killed -crap I forgot her name- the girl with the blue tentacles in the head, she was a nice girl ☹

Dark, I think it is fun to mess with the NPCs and Carth (KOTOR).
