Hi people, I have an mc elastically following the mouse on the main stage and I want to have it trace a line behind it. Anyone know how to do this? I know this can be done by duplicating movie clips but this just kicks the memory’s arse after no time at all.

Is there a way I could use lineto commands to keep it running smoother?

I noticed there are a couple of things on [yugop.com](http://yugop.com) called linex50 and circlex3 that are leaving immensly complex trails without eating up memory: [http://yugop.com/ver3/index.asp?id=16](http://yugop.com/ver3/index.asp?id=16)

Thanks in advance…
