# Link class not showing in IE

hey all im using a php include for my nav

```php
<a href="home.php"<?php echo (basename($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'])=='home.php'? ' class="activenav"' : '');?>>HOME</a>
<a href="history.php"<?php echo (basename($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'])=='history.php'? ' class="activenav"' : '');?>>HISTORY</a>
<a href="approach.php"<?php echo (basename($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'])=='approach.php'? ' class="activenav"' : '');?>>APPROACH</a>
<a href="quality.php"<?php echo (basename($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'])=='quality.php'? ' class="activenav"' : '');?>>QUALITY</a>
<a href="techinnovation.php"<?php echo (basename($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'])=='techinnovation.php'? ' class="activenav"' : '');?>>TECH & INNOVATION</a>
<a href="contact.php"<?php echo (basename($_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'])=='contact.php'? ' class="activenav"' : '');?>>CONTACT</a>

then css

#menu a.activenav{  
color:#FFFFFF;  
}

and php

\<div id=“menu”\>  
\<?php include(“includes/subnav.php”); ?\>  
\</div\>

shows up in firefox but not IE7 (not tested on others yet

any help appreciated as ever!!
