# Linking between 2 MC's

Hi,  
I’ve searched through the forums for an aswer to this but I haven’t found one yet.

I’m trying to have one MC’s button goto and play a label of another MC, i’ve tried a couple ways but havn’t figured it out yet, please help!

Here is one of the ways I’ve tried:

on (release){  
\_MC2.gotoAndPlay(“label”);  
}

Thanks Kode, but its not working.

Any other code suggestions?

Its a movie with 2 MC’s in it. I’m trying to get one MC’s button to activate the other MC and play from a certain label. ARRRGH!!!

Does being in different folders effect it?

Uhmm… it would be easier for me to give you the corect path to the movie clip if you could attach your FLA. :-\
