# Linking external videos

when you import a video it gives you 2 options
well to save on space i want to link external
but i have run out of space, well that would push it over. so can i have the .swf file on my site and link the the video location to a different server
e.g. my .swf is on [www.a.com](http://www.a.com) but my video is on [www.b.com](http://www.b.com)
could it work

Man, don’t ask, try it out!
I really haven’t tried that yet, but with those security issues, i’m really not sure, so just go ahead and try before you buy, and then let us know, okie?
