# Linking outside

I know this has to be a stupid question, but i tried searching and didnt have any luck. All i want to do is create a link to an outside page (like if i had a button linked to [www.kirupa.com](http://www.kirupa.com)) but when i use getUrl, it tries to load [www.mysite.com/www.kirupa.com](http://www.mysite.com/www.kirupa.com) which obviously isnt going to work…

I know its right under my nose but… I have no where else to turn
