# Linking to Word files on a CD

I haven’t found a direct answer to this in my search on here and I apologize in advance if there is an existing post.

I publishing a Flash project to CD. In my presentation, there’s a portion where the user can choose to download MS Word files. For the web version, this was just a simple link to an address on the web.

But I don’t know what is the correct path when publishing to CD, as people’s CD drives are often times different. I’ve tried just using

```auto
"/files/textdocument.doc","_blank" 

```

and I’ve even tried using

```auto
"../files/textdocument.doc","_blank"

```

Can anyone help?
