# Live movieclip on stage

I would like to know if there is any way possible to see what an animated movie clip will look like in the frame its in.

Ex. A number counting up to ten in a movie clip. The main stage has ten frames (not key frames), and on it is the mc. Is there a way to show on each frame which number its on?

(hopefully the example didn’t make it more confusing)
