# Loader Help

Hi, i am quite new to Flash, so if this is a daft question, please forgive me.

I have a loader component on the stage (quali\_ldr) which i am using to load an external swf (ITQuals.swf), within this swf file there is a move clip (mcQualis - instance name qualis\_mc). when i click on a button in the first file, i want the 2nd frame of qualis\_mc to display (frame is labeled ISSD .

on(release){  
\_root.gotoAndStop(“quali”);  
\_root.quali\_ldr.load(“ITQuals.swf”);  
\_parent.\_parent.quali\_ldr.qualis\_mc.gotoAndStop(“ISSD”);  
}

But this is not working. it works up to where the external swf file is loaded, but it wont jump to the frame. it just stays at frame 1.

any help would be wonderful!!
