# Loader & progressbar component question

Hoping someone can help. I’ve set up a straight ahead preloader using the loader and progressbar components following the tutorial [here](http://visualintensity.com/flash-tutorials/mx2004/preloader/). It works fine but what I’m trying to do now is add some additional text to the preloader that disappears when the main content loads.

I set up a dynamic text box with the text (and even played with putting it in a mc so I could control it that way) but a) I can’t seem to get the text to show up fully (it’s clipped) and b) whether I put this in a movie clip or not, I can’t seem to remove the clip entirely or set the visibility to false after things are loaded (the text just stays after the content.swf loads. I was thinking I could just add a line of script to the pbar component itself but nothing I’ve tried so far has worked.

My AS skills are a bit rusty…is there just something simple I’m missing here? Is this just the nature of using the component? I know I could solve the issue building a standard preloader but wanted to see if this an easy fix.
