# Loading a swf file from an XML document

Hello all, How can I load a swf from a XML file?

this is the AS that calls the link:

```
	subBut.but.onRelease = function() {
		getURL(this._parent.link);

```

The XML file:

\<?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“iso-8859-9”?\>  
\<root\>  
\<menu txt=“Fashion”\>  
\<submenu txt=“Bridal” link=“ball.swf”/\>  
\</menu\>

When pressed a new window opens instead of loading the movie.
