# Loading external swf on top of buttons

Hi guys,

I apologize if this is so stupidly obvious, but in a site I’m desiging I have an externally linked swf slide over my main navigation, covering the buttons intentionally. My problem is that the buttons remain active even though you can’t see them. I’ve tried to no avail with some different methods to disable them, breaking the movie each time. Anybody have a suggestion for possibly disabling the buttons until the external clip is unloaded? I’m sure it’s not a difficult solution and I suck at coding :puzzle:
