right…am gonna try to explain this the best i can.

I’ve created a website following this tutorial [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/preloader\_transition.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/preloader_transition.htm)

now my naviagtion menu has got a drop down sub menus which are in a mc. What I want is the sub menus to control the external swf files but i have no idea on how to do this.

can anyone help me with this?

be greatful if anyone can.
