# Loading from paths in text file

i am trying to load a picture into a flash/swf document. However i want to do this via a path name inside a .txt document. What is the AS i can use because i deleted my flash file where it worked lol.  
Also, how can i tell flash to scale down the picture to say the requirements 100x100 pxls? is it poss?
