Hi, still learning flash/xml…and am stuck…

I have a 6 movie clips on the main timeline named ‘item\_0\_mc’, ‘item\_1\_mc’, etc, each of which contains dynamic text fields and movieclips which I am loading (the respective) content into…

There is a for statement that tells it to load the first 6 childnodes into each respective movie clips :

-------------------/

this\_mc = this;
function display(){
for (var e = 0; e\<6; e++) {
item\_mc = this\_mc[“item\_”+e+"\_mc"];
scarves = xmlData.firstChild.childNodes[2].childNodes[e];
item\_mc.picture\_mc.loadMovie(scarves.attributes.image);
item\_mc.title\_txt.text = scarves.attributes.title;
item\_mc.starsign\_txt.text = scarves.attributes.starsign;
item\_mc.hobbies\_txt.text = scarves.attributes.hobbies;
item\_mc.loves\_txt.text = scarves.attributes.loves;
item\_mc.xmldata = scarves;
}
}

xmlData = new XML();
xmlData.ignoreWhite = true;
xmlData.onLoad = loadXML;
xmlData.load(“xml/fashion.xml”);

-------------------/

What i’m trying to do is have a ‘next’ button, that asks for the next 6 childNodes to be loaded into the same item\_0\_mc('s).

For referance, the xml code is inside ‘items\_scarves\_mc’ which is on the ‘content’ layer of the attached file…

cheers,
jo
