SUP PPLS, I HAVE A QUICK ?
whats the best method to load a full 2 to 3 min song on flash???
any opinions and or methods are greatly appreciated

Probably stream it through Flash using loadSound()
You can read a quick little thing at the bottom of this loading techniques tutorial…

well i mean im familiar with both those techniques but ive always used them for things like graphics and things of that nature but when it comes to sound, im looking for the quickest and the shortest loading method that ppl with 56k can have. i have high speed and i just waant a full song to load quick for the 56k-ers you know. so esentially what i need to know is if for eg, is it better to load a full 2 min song as an external movie or calling it from the library etc???

Well as I stated before… loadSound() allows you to dynamically stream mp3 files through Flash.
This is the quickest method because it allows you to actually start playing the sound while it is still loading (hence streaming)
Check that link I posted earlier… it has small blurp called
“Load .mp3 dynamically with Flash MX”
This would be the best method IMO. Otherwise the best method would be to put it in an external .swf with a preloader and use loadMovie() to load it in.
