hey NicoVB you would need to explain a bit more about your problem for people to be able to help you.
: whats the loading problem involve? your preloader is taking a long time to load? your file is taking a long time to load?

I have a preloader set on the first frame of my Main scene. I’ve a few MP3 in my libraries which are used throug the movie. But the problem I experience is that the site is loading in the browser for a large amount of time while I have a preloader.

well since you have a few mp3s that’s the reason why it takes awhile to load, having a preloader doesn’t mean that your site would load faster.
Now my question is, does your preloader show up at all in the beginning or does the preloader take awhile to show up too?

Are you saying that the preloader is taking a while to load itself, if this is the case, i found that the more simplier your preloader the better the speed and feel to your website. Yes its good to have for example a 3d animations for preloaders but they too have to be loaded in and they usually take about 5- 10 seconds them selves . if this is not the case then like Pewter said, its best to post a fla. 🙂

Yep, i’ve tested the preloader on another site, and it worked fine. So the problem is in the .fla-file .
