# Loading Swf's into Swf's please help

I am working with Flash 8 to create my website. The problem i have run into is keeping file size down. I just found out how to load one swf into another, but now I have run into a problem. Here is the break down:

I have my main file, file2, and file3.  
The site opens to the main file, and using a blank movie clip, when you click a button, file2 is loaded on the main file in the movie clip. Now I want file3 to load off a button on file2, in a blank movie clip loacted on file2.The button exists but when i click on it nothing is loaded.

Is this a way of saying that you can only load one at a time? If anyone can help I would really apreciate it, Thank you in advance.
