# Loading Text from External Sources

As i am quite new in Flash i only manage things using the tutorials here on Kirupa. :sigh: When i don’t manage to do those, i start to panic. 😊

I tried to follow the t[size=2]utorial ‘[**[font=Verdana][color=#003366]Loading[/color][/font]**[/size][font=Verdana][size=2][color=#003366][url=“http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/multiple\_dynamictext.htm”] Text from External Sources](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/multiple_dynamictext.htm)’[color=Black] for Flash MX. Is it possible that what is described there does not work in Flash MX 2004?? Even opening the provided .fla and publishing it didn’t work! Or is it me doing something wrong?[/color]
