(Where) does flash in IE for the PC cache images that are dynamically loaded?

I keep reading that flash does this but everytime I use IE and hit my page that has a swf with images dynamically loaded, I see the browser making a ton of requests.

For IE, I clean out the: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files directory, hit the page, and the only thing there is the HTML file. In Firefox, it lookes like it works. I see cache files that if I rename to .jpg…are the files and they do NOT cause more hits over the internet to grab the images.

Is there a way to force flash to cache these images?

Here’s my sample page:

Many many thanks,
