# Logo Artist Wanted

Hi there. Some of you probably already know me from around the forums. I’m a designer. =)
So anyway, I design logos all the time for my clients and they are always very pleased but I can never make a logo for myself. Whatever I come up with is never good enough. So I would love it if someone could whip me up a cool logo. There is no money involved but if I use it you will get full credit and I will link to you on my site.
Features:
\>The logo should be distinct at both 40 x 40 pixels and 300 x 300 pixels. This means vector I’m afraid for any of you PSers.
\>There should be no text on the logo except perhaps a stylised ‘PD’
That’s it. Other than that you have total creative freedom. If anyone feels they can spare half an hour of their time to do this I would be immensely greatful.

What do you need the logo for? A business? Personal? Just for the heck of it?

3rdeye// The title font (cursive) is called Creampuff and is a free font. The main font is called Fette Engschrift and is not a free font.

Cool. First thing I do, when designing logos, is look at what’s out there. Then I start to doodle. A lot of companies now are using swoosh styled designs, which is cool for something sporty, but I was wondering if you wanted something else.
I’d recommend looking at logos/styles that appeal to you. Then ask yourself how you’d change/tweak it. You have initials that would work well with a swoosh style.
I do know where you’re coming from, it’s a pain to try and develop a logo for yourself.

Another thing about the logo, is what do you want it to say about you/your style, etc?

IT should say modern, but not too modern and stylish. In other words like any good logo it should tell people “This guy knows his \*\*\*\*.”
The type of logos I like are simple but creative ones. I’ll post up a few examples if you like.

Here ya go. Some examples of the kind of thing I like. Something that can be combined with text in a title to great effect and also look good in the corner of the sites I design.
