# Lol another preloader question :)

all i wanna no is WHY AINT THIS WORKING!?
lol i got a preloader yeah but i want it to play the next scence (scene 2) after its loaded.
cud sum 1 help me here and oh by they way i added a sound clip to the preloader wud that be y it dont work?

EDIT- yeah its summit to do with the sound cos i tryed the preloader goin to scene 2 to without the sound clip being there and it was okay so now i think the question is. does sound actualy work with a preloader or not? if yes HOW!?
EDIT 2 - how do u make the preload count up with the loadin process. so for every byte loaded it shows the percent of it loaded. get me? (hehe prob not so im off to find an example)

yeah so while the progress bar goes up along with the numbers (dont think i got that workin yet but hey hey 🙂 ) the sound plays
thought that wud be niffty it i cud get it workin

Well, a few tips for you:
- Avoid scenes;
- Heavy sounds or graphics on your preloader animation defeats all the purpose of the preloader. It will take a while till flash preloads the preloader itself, so probably the loadbar wont show up correctly.

oh okay im guessin i got scratch the idea of have the sound for the preloader then ☹ _sits in corner cryin_

but do u see it go up fraction by fraction like the 1 on that game? cos i only see the grey box then the text flash 100% and i plays scene2 its that cos its only loading a small file?
