I’ve been doing a university project since September in Flash MX and about 20 minutes ago Flash MX decided to delete the FLA file clear of my Hard Drive. I can’t find it, its not in the Recent Files folder, its nowhere?

Last time I tried to save it Flash said that the file could not be saved, I tried saving it in different directories on different drives, nothing, same error and now its gone. This has actually happened to me before but a long time ago and wasn’t really on anything important but this is the best part of 7 months work gone.

Does anyone know of any way whatsoever to try and find the FLA? Its simply disappeared and any help would be so appreciated.

try searching for \*.FLA on your harddrive.

To avoid this in the future, i definately recommend updating, among other reasons. Also you should keep a serious backup of files like that.

BTW, dont doublepost

Its nowhere to be found on any of the drives.

BTW, you think I purposely meant to double post? I deleted it as soon as I’d posted
