I know not everyone is a Linkin Park fan. I am. Their DJ, Joe Hahn has a degree in Illustration. has worked on special effects for the X-Files, the sci-fi series “Dune,” and pioneered some effects in “The Frighteneers,” worked on “Phantoms,” “Sphere,” and other monsters for movies. The new Linkin Park video - “Breaking the Habit” (the newest version) is nothing short of amazing. It is up for an award on MTV, and you can see it at their website or online somewhere. Guy is a genius. I watched a DVD with some specials on it, and his artwork is fantastic - just simply amazing… the video for their song “Papercut” is stunning as well. He has directed over 9 music videos in his 3 year music career. ---

Agreed man, he’s a genious. Actually, Joe and Mike met in art school, and formed a band with Brad, Pheonix and Rob, and then Chester came in later. 🙂 ---

If you are looking for cool videos check out some of Tool’s stuff. Adam Jones the guitarist did Animation I think at university and has done some really awesome stuff with prosthetics. Also The Mars Volta’s clips/artworks are very good. I am not a Linkin Park fan. But that clip was pretty cool. ---

Linking Park is awesome… _Points of Authority_, not only is that my favorite song (from them) but the video was pretty cool too. :thumb: ---

Yeah, the CG in Points of Authority was badass beyond belief (that had a ring to it 🙂 ) LP goes into the studio in October to record their new album, but Mike Shinoda said not to expect it till Fall '05 ☹ ---

It’s great how he likes anime too. I was so excited when I saw the Breaking the Habit video in anime style, and the Gundam Wings models in Somewhere I Belong. Linkin Park puts an amazing amount of work into their songs and videos. They really know their stuff - I agree, amazing. 🙂
