Lunar Eclipse - Nov 8th

the right lower corner never disappeared here, i think it’s still in the process of being covered up

EDIT: 1000 posts, YAY!

looked outside ~10 minits ago. the moon looked red (very cool)

iowa- hmm, silver seems to be getting larger, i guess it wasn’t a complete lunar eclipse here

actually now the moon is VERY VERY dark gray but there is a little sliver of silver, i’m not quite sure what i’m seeing… lol

germany>bavaria>würzburg>unterdürrbach
the lunar eclipse lasted for about 45 minutes here.
now it turned into a silver red

(~2:42 AM Würzburg time)

the white part is now getting bigger
(7:46 CST)

i think your clock is off :stuck_out_tongue:
(by about 10 minutes) lol

I’ve got a very small sliver of moon here… And the rest a shade of reddish gray… Looks purdy…

Too bad digital cameras suck at viewing sky pictures in the town lights… :-p hehe

mine can’t zoom in enough lol, i’m looking through my binoculars, i took a few pics but havent really looked at them yet :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: I think this thread has one of the lowest view to post ratios

dividing number of views by number of posts :stuck_out_tongue:

i think i see the shadow of mount everest on the bottom showing onto the white part

You must be seeing either Kiti’s nose or Kirupa’s unibrow;
wow this was evil :bad: :stuck_out_tongue:

i haven’t seen any meteors flying through the sky…just stars expoding changing colors. there seems to be an unusual amount of airplanes in te sky tonight.

Location: near Dayton, Ohio

The moon his half brownish orange half yellow/gray in a 69 shape.
its 9:14 EST.

have you seen any meteors phil? anyboby else?
