# Mac Firewall?

Hey,  
Ive got a couple questions about macs since im not too familiar with them.  
Does a mac need a fire wall? I mean are macs less likely to be hacked compared with windows based machines? And if a mac firewall is indeed necessary, what is a good mac firewall? Free is always better but solutions that cost money are good too.
