# Mac to TV... What type of cable do I need?

Hello. I’m wondering what (exactly) type of cable I should get for my Mac Mini to my LCD tv with DVI.

The TV has a DVI-I input as well as HDMI inputs. But when I shop ebay it appears the most popular type of DVI to DVI cable is DVI-D. In fact, I’m having difficulty finding a DVI-I cable. Would a DVI-D cable result in a loss of signal quality?? Would it even matter?

I’ve tried researching DVI on wikipedia, but I can’t seem to figure this out from the information provided. Any help is appreciated…
