# Magnify DisplacementMapFilter won't let me use button interactivity

Hi all, I followed this tutorial below:  
active[dot]tutsplus[dot]com/tutorials/effects/create-an-impressive-magnifying-effect-with-actionscript-30/

to get a magnify lens effect which works wonderfully, unfortunately the problem I’m having is I cannot click on buttons underneath the magnify lens. Is there a work around to this that I can implement? I tried mouseEnabled = false, to no avail. I’m kind of not sure what else to do.
