# Mail from flash

hi guys,

this has been irritating me for quite a few minutes now, cos i thought it would be simple.

i’m trying to link an email address to an email client like outlook using "mailto:name@domain.com"

i’ve tried 2 things.

1. i created a button and used the getURL command
2. created a dynamic text box, clicked the “render text as html” button, and linked it to the email.

but nothing seems to work when i preview. do i have to upload it onto the net first???

please help!
