the help says that the displacement map creates a new copy of the source movieclip and manipultes it.
can i use that copy? is there anyway to access it?

well, specifically, my problem is that the movieclip i apply this map to, may be rotated or resized later on. so i need the mapping to be consistent with it. how do i do this?
