# Major frustation with Dropdown menus to link to movieclip

Hi all!

I’m not a full-time web designer or even developer, work in film industry but i do work on our company site for years and from a little site it grew to a very big one over time…

Now i really want to move to Actionscript 3 as i believe it will makes things better plus the market is heading towards that direction.

Now my problem relies on creating a vertical dropdown menu which all the sub-buttons will link to another movieclip within the main movieclip.  
I got 3 different menus on the site - [www.decodeuk.com/redmain.html](http://www.decodeuk.com/redmain.html) - and all of them link to the main movieclip. I need to transfer decodeuk to AS3 but i know it will take a while.

I got the original tutorial to grasp the dropdown menu for as3 but i need vertical dropdown menu…with links to movieclips and not URL’s which most tutorials give.
