# Making a button stay "on"

Hello 🙂

This one’s driving me ever so slightly insane, I’m hoping someone can help me (and save my hair!)

I have a button, I want it so that when the button is clicked it stays in it’s over state (eg: the user will know which button is currently “on”).

I’ve tried to do a nice little gotoAndStop(“hit”) but that doesn’t seem to work ☹ Any ideas?
