# Making a connection to MySQL : step by step?

Hello geeks 🙂

This is my first thread ever here …  
I would like you guys to help me especially that this is really urgent !  
As a Final project , i was ordered to make and mvc framework (with i did ) , but i’m stuck in this step :

- the webApp must be able to generate on-demand ( click of a button in html ) a PDF file  
where he gets the infos from the MySQL database.

I have been wandering around for almost a month , i’ve even got some ready-to-go scripts … except they never worked !

Ok , this is what i know :  
-We need the cppConn libs and etc… components.  
-We need the Boost lib …  
-We need to compile in release mode !

Guys , i’m really tired of this , if anyone have done it before please don’t hesitate to help , it’s not a simple matter it’s a final year project …sorry but we can’t have the same good teachers 🙂
