# Making a denim material in Illustrator

Never thought I’d have to do this but I have to make a denim material in illustrator for a print ad. But it seems to be harder than it sounds. ANyone got some insight on this? The illustration will be kinda cartoony so realism is not the target. Also a link to a tut will be appreciated.
