# Making a flash site without window

Hi I want my flash site to be independant of a window, so when the user enters the site, the site is not displayed inside and internet browser window , does anyone know how this can be achieved?

Well theres a tutorial here on kirupa. Go to [www.kirupa.com](http://www.kirupa.com) (note that this is [www.kirupaforum.com](http://www.kirupaforum.com)), press go to tutorials, tutorial list, and scroll down and look for the **Chromeless Window** tutorial.
I tried that tutorial and it didnt work for me. Maybe it’ll work for you.

visit www.rob.id.au (this is not my site so don’t ask) and a flash presentation pops up on top of a html page. Close the flash window (or check it out - it’s very cool) and save the html page. Open the html page in a text editor and change the details to fit your site. There are only a few bits, ie, site title, movie name, image name, background colour etc.

i like how the menu slows up when you pass over the choices and then speeds up when you move away – can someone tell me where there is a tutorial of some sort on how to achieve this?
