# Making a movieclip array

can i make a movie clip array as in:  
mc\_holder[2].attachMovie(“card”,“card”, j+1);

in this example the mc\_holder is the name of the movie clips:  
mc\_holder[1],mc\_holder[2],mc\_holder[3]…,  
can it be done?  
how?
