I posted [a question](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228299) about having a complicated gallery several days ago, and after some tedious experimenting with xml, I’ve come to the conclusion it won’t work.
Ok. Fine. So I thought perhaps the best way to undertake this task would be to have separate movies: MovieA, which holds the primary thumbnails and images, and MovieB, which holds the secondary thumbs and images.

The problem is I can’t get the movies to talk to each other very well. When a secondary thumbnail is clicked, the secondary image (MovieB) just overlaps the primary one (MovieA).
I’m sure there’s some solution with loading and unloading some kind of movie clip, but I’m clueless with all of that.

I’d also very much like to incorporate [this technique](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=132588) in showing the images, but I’ve no idea how that will work in separate movies or how to give the onRelease thing two commands.
Do you think I’m organizing this the best way? Or should I put all thumbnails in one movie and all big images in another one to help achieve this effect?

oi. so confused.

Thanks in advance for allowing me to pick your brains. 🙂

cheers,
~Michelle
