# Malcolm's in the middle

Hi,

I have to say that this site is the best I’ve stumbled into so for. I’ve looked for days on how to load an external .swf and then I found this neat tutorial in here that showed me how to do it. So, I used the code exactly as it appears in the tutorial and everything works. Well, not exactly like I thought it would though.  
The .swf that I’ve loaded doesn’t start at it’s beginning. It loads in the middle of Scene 4. The .swf I’m trying to load has it’s own preloader too and that is missed somehow.

on (release) {  
\_root.contents.loadMovie(“test.swf”);  
}

Any tidbits of code to solve this would be appreciated.

Code looks fine. Any chance you could upload your main swf and the one that is loaded in?

Nah, size shouldn’t be your problem. Can you upload just the imported one then? Or is that one too big too?

The presentation starts at concept\_one.fla

I loaded a zip file. The problem code is in “concept\_two.fla” with button “Personalized Introduction Presentations for New Distributor Contacts”

Oh if you need it the User ID “tomo” Password “007”

I spoke too soon. No matter how or how many I zip they are too large.

I could email them to you if that were an option.
