Hi everyone,

So a few of us are working on a tactics based game, influenced by the good old Final Fantasy tactics games for the DS. It’s been going well, though on hold for about two more weeks until University exams are done; we’re all pretty bogged down.

Anyways, this is what I have made so far in regards to the map editor we’ll be using to create the maps. Go ahead and try it!

**Some Important Notes**

If you find anything wrong, or have any suggestions/comments/questions, feel free to ask!

Also, note that I know there are the white tiles that appear when you place the larger tree down: this is not a bug, I left them visible for testing purposes. And speaking of testing purposes, use the Pathfinding Tool _at your own risk_, as I was also just testing some pathfinding.

Note that pathfinding isn’t done on the map editor example, though I have a near completed one in a seperate FLA that I’ll be integrating later.

**Export/Import**
If you want to share a map you’ve created (I know, there’s not much of an object selection), feel free to post them here. Here’s some simple instructions:

1. When you export, simply click the button and click inside the white box beside it. Select all (Ctrl-A) and copy (Ctrl-C) and paste it into a text file, or simply onto the forum.

2. To import, simply select all of an exported data example, and click once into the white box beside import. Paste (Ctrl-V) and click Import and the map should appear!

Thanks! 🙂
