3.4M panels mapped is cool, but my brain goes straight to the “data exhaust” here: once you can locate and count assets that precisely, insurers, tax assessors, and regulators are going to start treating it like an always-on audit trail.

The map is the fun part; the second-order effect is who gets to use it, and whether the farmers/operators have any say in that.

Look — once that dataset exists, it’s going to get cross-referenced with permits, interconnection records, and satellite timestamps until “we think you have X panels” turns into “prove you don’t. ” Farmers won’t get a vote unless there’s a hard policy wall on who can access it and how it can be used.
