# Mardi Gras + Riot Gear = fun?

Mardi Gras was rather dissapointing over here. Cops were out in the riot gear early and kept a pretty tight lid on the whole scene.

How was everyone elses celebration of excess?

Hang on, is this like a Shrove Tuesday thing? Because if memory serves, then it’s Pancake Day tomorrow… 🙂

Yeah, Fat Tuesday is really more of an after thought around here. The weekend before is when all the parties happen.
