# Markup Validation HTML - Cannot Encode properly

Okay so my site [www.hola-china.net/wordpress](http://www.hola-china.net/wordpress) looks fine, that is until you open it in IE- then it looks like a cat through a shredder. SO… I went ahead and tried to validate it- and this comes out:
\*Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 297 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Err… what? I’ve tried searching for this an no luck- any ideas?
