Okay, im almost sure that theres a tutorial on this but i cant seem to find it with the search. I need to find out how to create a mask over a preloader with say- text or any other object.

are you asking how to make the mask, or just how to mask the preloader as such? just put the mask in the frames with the preloader (ie before the rest of the movie starts). as for making the mask, you just right click the layer and click mask, right?
