# Masking Dynamic Text Fields

Does anyone know how to apply a mask to a dynamically loaded text field?
I have tried but the textfield doesn’t appear when I publish the movie. It seems that you can’t mask dynamic textfields at all.

The text in the dynamic textfield don’t diplay the text in them when masked only if you used device fonts. try embeding the font! 🙂

Thanks, I used a font symbol and the mask worked, but now \<\*\*\*\*b\> tags in my html text don’t work. It only takes normal text and \<\*\*\*\*u\> tags.
