# Masking dynamic text

my questions i simple really, problem is i have a mask tweened so that i opens along side a window…but thats not the point. the maskied layer is supposed to have a dynamic text box with a scroll bar. but when i run it and the mask opens up all the way all i see is the scrll bar.
it works with static text though so im thinking maybe i shouldnt externally load the text…

btw the scroll bar is a flash ui component, not scripted or made from scratch

I’m facing the same problem earlier…
try to click on the dunamic text box and select the property…then look for the “character” button… select all character… click done…
thats all…

unfortunately, masking dynamic text isn’t possible. Even if you load it from an external file, it will still behave the same because
it’s still dynamic text. 😉
You’ll have to come up with a work around for what you need.
