# MaSking Help Please

Well hello all you good designers out there. I need help i am trying to do a masking effect but the problems is that the type of masking effect i am trying to do isn’t working out. Macromedia has an example in there tour of Flash MX.

example ( click on # 3 and then where it says dynamic mask)

well thats what i am trying to do. I tried one way but it will only mask one of the hexagon insted of all of them. Can some one please help me.

ok well i think this will work

Click on start tour and on number 3 and then dynamic masking

basicaly a bump… cause I want to know how it’s done too. 🙂

I think that you will need to explain what method you used, and then provide a link to the source FLA that you’re working on. I see the effect you’re attempting, and it’s quite neat…

Hey FatBeat, I think this is what you migh be looking for. I created a Movie Clip with the hexagons in it and masked the picture.
