\*\*\*\*, i have problems with that, could anyone gimme a tip or two?
Do I have to embed the font to be able to do that?

masking txt fields should work the same as masking anything…
make a mask shape the same size as your field. then put it on a layer above the field and set that layer to mask.
if your txt field is static there’s no need to embed your fonts, flash will do it for you. if not (dynamic text) you can set the font to embed in the properties panel.

You have to embed you font when you mask text, if not you won’t see anything

Is there any way to avoid the anti-aliasing of a font when it is embedded?

You can uncheck the antialising in MX2004 not in mx or use pixel font, they’re not antialiased
