# Massive Loss Of HDD Space After Reinstall

My friend got a virus and it \*\*\*\*ed up his pc uber bad so I told him to reinstall windows. So he did and his HDD was 228GB before the reinstall but after reinstalling it was only 127Gb. Anybody know what could have gone wrong?
