# Master and Slave Drives

Just a quick question:  
what’s the difference between setting one drive on a cable to ‘Master’ and the other ‘Slave’?

and another quick one:  
it’s ok for me to have my windows/pc run from the secondary hd, right? (I had to do so because of cabling restrictions)
